Whale Watching with Seair is an experience not to be missed. Each year, an estimated 1500-1800 humpback whales migrate 5000km from Antarctic waters, to warmer waters off eastern Australia.

On their return journey they enter Hervey Bay and spend between 3 and 5 days resting or feeding their new born calves, safe from sharks and Killer Whales.

The Hervey Bay marine park is a safe and sensitive environment for Whale watching between August and October each year.

The Seair Whale Watching Tour begins with a courtesy pickup from Gold Coast or Brisbane hotels at approximately 6.00am. We take to the air for approximately 80 minute scenic coastal flight to Hervey Bay.

Whale Watching is enjoyed on the "Spirit of Hervey Bay", a luxury vessel exclusively fitted out with underwater glass viewing windows. The "Spirit of Hervey Bay" is a large 150 passenger boat and cruises around 25 knots, making it fast, comfortable and most efficient in locating whales in the shortest possible time.

The tour includes breakfast served in flight, approximately four hours Whale watching on the "Spirit of Hervey Bay" with on board commentary, Morning tea on vessel, Buffet lunch at The Deck Restaurant situated right on the water at the marina.
