Experience the best of World Heritage listed Fraser Island and stay on the Great Barrier Reef in this unique three night airtour, departing Brisbane or Gold Coast. This trip can be planned as an independent tour for minimum of two passengers.

Suggested Itinerary:
DAY ONE - Brisbane to Lady Elliot Island
Departing Brisbane early in the morning, we fly north along the Queensland coast and over Fraser Island, before landing on Lady Elliot Island the first coral cay on the southern Great Barrier Reef. Collect your snorkel, flippers and mask from Dive Shop. Afternoon at leisure to snorkel in the lagoon or coral gardens. Enjoy buffet dinner in the Dining Room before evening activities, which may include presentations in the Education Centre and Turtle Viewing (in season).

DAY TWO - Lady Elliot Island to Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island
Thirty-minute flight to Hervey Bay departs the island at approximately 10.30am. Meet Kingfisher Bay Resort courtesy coach at the airport for transfer to the Marina. The Fraser Island passenger catamaran departs at 12.00pm, arriving at Kingfisher Bay Resort at 12.30pm. Afternoon at your leisure to explore resort, swim in the heated pool, go bush walking or try your luck fishing. Each evening the resort offers an optional ranger-guided activity, for example a night spotlighting tour.

 

DAY THREE - Fraser Island
Take an optional Bird watching walk before Country style hot buffet breakfast in the Maheno Restaurant. Try a full day 4WD tour of Fraser Island. Visit beautiful lakes, fresh water streams, the endless ocean beach and stunning inland rainforests on a day of discovery. Lunch and refreshments are provided on tour.

DAY FOUR - Fraser Island to Brisbane via Hervey Bay
Depart Kingfisher Bay Resort on the 10.30am catamaran to Hervey Bay Marina, where you have time for lunch before transfer to Hervey Bay Airport to meet Seair Pacific aircraft and scenic coastal flight south to Brisbane or Gold Coast. Arrive approximately 4pm (Brisbane City hotels) to 5pm (Gold Coast Hotels). Courtesy hotel transfers included.

Additional nights can be added at either Lady Elliot Island or Kingfisher Bay Resort.
